Goat rewarded with chest of cabbage
 Namely such verdict was made recently by a district court of the city of Chashniki, Grodno Region (Byelorussia). A local citizen brought a suit against his neighbours, demanding to compensate his damage made by the neighbours’ goat which crippled his dog.
As it turned out during the hearings, the plaintiff’s dog attacked the respondents and would have for sure bitten them, if not for their goat which was pastured near there. The goat rushed to defend its masters and seriously damaged the aggressive dog.
The judges who were considering the case showed both impartiality and sense of humour. The goat was not only fully justified, but it also was thanked and gained from the court a chest of cabbage as a sign of gratitude.
